Deciding when to stop driving
Deciding when to stop driving
Experienced drivers are generally safer than those with less experience, but as we get older changes in our fitness and eyesight can affect our ability to drive safely.
Driving is an important part of being independent. If you're concerned about someone’s ability to drive safely, our leaflet ‘Driving Safely for Longer’ provides guidance you can share on continuing to be a safe driver in later life and maintaining the independence having your own vehicle brings.
Members can download this leaflet in their MyRoSPA’s Learning Hub in the ‘Safe@Work Safe@Home’ section.
