As migrant workers increasingly form a critical part of the workforce, senior managers must ensure they aren’t placed at a disadvantage when it comes to protecting their health and safety. Indeed, managers may have to go the extra mile to cover potential vulnerabilities and ensure migrant workers comprehend the “what” and “why” of those control measures in place to protect them where English may not be well understood.
