APOSHO welcomes RoSPA membership to enhance occupational safety initiatives
International safety organisation APOSHO expands its reach by welcoming RoSPA, reinforcing a commitment to preventing occupational accidents and diseases through global knowledge exchange and collaboration.
APOSHO welcomes RoSPA membership to enhance occupational safety initiatives. The Asia-Pacific Occupational Safety and Health Organisation (APOSHO) is an international body composed of non-profit professional organisations devoted to the prevention of occupational accidents and diseases.
During APOSHO’s recent AGM which was held in Kuala Lumper Malaysia, the membership voted to accept the membership proposal from The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).
Bernie Doyle, Secretary General of APOSHO, said “In the world of safety RoSPA is highly regarded, not only as one of the oldest safety organisations in the world, but as leaders in a number of areas. One of the key objectives of APOSHO is the ever-increasing passion to improve the knowledge of its members. We understand RoSPA will be able to greatly assist with this process.
I am aware that the road safety and driving or riding for work project delivered in the UK is of great interest to many of the APOSHO members and they are looking forward to learning more about this program, as road safety is a major issue in many South Asian countries.”
