- Drowning causation
- Introduction to the principles of water safety management
- Risk assessment of inland water safety sites, including hazard identification and risk control measures
- Site-specifc drowning prevention strategies
- Safety of water sports and casual water-based activity
- Procedures and systems for managing supervisory staff and lifeguards
