What does the NEBOSH General Certificate cover?
The NEBOSH General Certificate consists of two units:
Unit NG1: Management of health and safety
- The foundations of health and safety
- Health and safety management systems
- Identifying hazards and assessing risks
- Investigating incidents
Unit NG2: Risk assessment
- Practical application of your knowledge through a workplace-based risk assessment project
Both units are assessed separately, with NG1 culminating in a written exam and NG2 requiring a practical risk assessment.
