Road Safety Observatory
The Road Safety Observatory, developed by a range of key road safety organisations including RoSPA, the Department for Transport, Road Safety GB, PACTS and RoadSafe, aims to provide free and easy access to independent road safety research and information for anyone working in road safety and for members of the public.
It provides summaries and reviews of research on a wide range of road safety issues, along with links to original road safety research reports. By bringing together many of the key road safety NGOs and organisations, the Observatory hopes to provide one coherent view of road safety evidence and the potential impact of different measures.
The Road Safety Observatory formerly existed as a standalone website, designed to respond to demand for easier access to research and information in a format understandable to both the public and professionals. The content on this page acts as an archive to enable access to the key evidence statements, which can now downloaded as pdf documents below.
Please note that the Road Safety Observatory is not currently being updated. Please get in touch if you have any queries.
