Make your voice heard and start influencing health and safety policy
As a membership organisation, we listen to our members’ views and work with the Government to make positive changes to health and safety policy and legislation. By sharing your views and telling us about the issues that impact your sector, you’ll have the chance to influence how we talk to those in charge.
Our abilty to influence
In our work we regularly talk to Government, MPs, select committees, national committees and regulators. We are seen as the voice of reason and our network of members and Award winners are recognised as an important community, with the power to influence change and to inform better decision making. Influencing change is central to our mission and your involvement is key.
Why it’s important to have your voice heard
We want to know your thoughts and to hear about what is important to you, this is how change should be informed, by the knowledge of those close to the issue. By listening to you and understanding your experiences you can influence our thinking, providing insight into your wants and needs.
How can you share your opinions?
There are a number of ways that you can talk to us, and we want to make it easy for you. You can contribute through MyRoSPA where you can respond to consultations and take part in our health and safety surveys and questionnaires. Here are some examples of the ways members have/can be involved:
