Sir George Earle Trophy
In 1954, the late Sir George Earle, then president of the Associated Portland Cement Manufacturers Ltd, delivered an address to the National Industrial Safety Conference on the importance of competition, achievement and reward; then supporting his words with action, he presented the silver Victorian inkstand now known as the Sir George Earle Trophy, for annual competition.
The Sir George Earle Trophy is the highest accolade in the RoSPA Awards.Today, its winner is chosen from our highest-performing sector winners, and the trophy has a renewed focus on creating a lasting legacy of success with those who win it.
